Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 2.78 g, 11 h), uncertain mint in the East, circa 128-130. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right. Rev. COS III Large crescent with five stars above. BMC -. Cohen -. RIC -, cf. 3082 (differing bust type). Apparently unpublished and of lovely eastern style. Slightly rough and with minor areas of flatness, otherwise, very fine.
